Most Common Violations and Ways you can Avoid Them
The most common violations by far are Lawn Maintenance and Trash Can related. These violations are easily avoided with a few simple steps:
Put your Trash and Recycle Bins away by the end of the day on Trash Day (Wed)
Mow your lawn at least every 2-3 weeks. In hot weather it is better to raise the mower to at or near its highest setting.
Water your grass, hedges and trees when needed so they don't die (especially in Summer months)
Trim and maintain hedges so they are kept neat and tidy (Usually 2-3 times per year is sufficient for most hedges)
Trim trees away from the sidewalk and street (min clearance of 7 feet). Avoid trimming Oaks during Oak Wilt season if at all possible.
And Remember: Any exterior changes such as painting, landscaping changes, fence additions etc need to go through an ACC approval process before work can begin.
